Alyssa is a lab manager and lead study coordinator for the Train Your Brain study. She oversees participant recruitment, screening, and scheduling, and is a key contributor to data collection. Beyond study coordination, she supports research compliance and lab operations, managing IRB submissions, NIH progress reports, and mentoring undergraduate research assistants. Her research interests include deception detection, decision-making, and memory processes — particularly how these domains are influenced by aging. Alyssa plans to pursue a Ph.D. to further explore these areas of cognitive research.
