Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students interested in joining the Social-Cognitive and Affective Development lab and feel they would be a good fit should fill out the application linked below.

  • Ideal candidates for taking on a research assistant position are highly motivated, reliable, conscientious, and self-directed.
  • Because research assistants will also interact with research participants of different ages, good social skills are very important.
  • Prior research experience, completion of Research Methods, and knowledge and interest working with Excel/SPSS or coding are a plus.
  • Specific skills that could help your application but are not necessary: interest in Neuroimaging research, programming skills in R or Python ot Matlab, and knowledge/experience with Linux.

Graduate Students

Dr. Natalie Ebner conducts research on social-cognitive and affective development in adulthood using behavioral, pharmacological, and neuroimaging methodologies. Graduate students interested in working with Dr. Ebner in these research areas are encouraged to apply. Postdoctoral Candidates

Additionally, Dr. Ebner is the PI on a new NIH-funded project in collaboration with Dr. Nichole Lighthall and Dr. Robert Wilson exploring trust decision-making. The Adult Development & Decision (AD&D) Lab supervised by Dr. Nichole Lighthall is currently seeking a full-time postdoctoral researcher as part of this NIH-funded research program.
