Sarah Verdecia-Zabala is a lab manager and lead study coordinator for the Flicker Study. She oversees participant recruitment, screening and scheduling, data management, and is certified to perform venipunctures. Her research interests focus on understanding the role of oxytocin in aging and cognition, especially through a clinical lens. She is also interested in investigating how environmental stimuli affect memory in aging. Sarah currently aims to attend medical school to pursue a degree in psychiatry with the long-term goal of integrating research into her medical practice.
